Be the (Wo)man Who Delivers Growth

12-1PM PT (3-4PM ET)  |  FREE for WITI Members ($50 Nonmembers)

Presenter: Aurelie Guerrieri

Looking for a sure-fire way to get ahead? The answer is - Deliver growth to your company! McKinsey shows that growth is a predictor of company success, and being the one to own that growth is key to career progression.

Historically, line managers were the only ones with revenue generation opportunity. Digital is changing that and putting marketers at the center of results: CMOs are now in line for CEO succession.

Mobile is the next big-thing in digital. Users spend north of 2 hours per day on their phones and this is growing. Figuring out how to engage with mobile users impacts all businesses to their core, across all industries.

In this webinar, Aurelie Guerrieri will discuss how to develop a sophisticated and effective mobile marketing strategy so you can play in the big leagues! You will learn:

- Why a sophisticated mobile marketing strategy is a must-have today
- How to calculate ROI (return on investment), and navigate mobile performance indicators (MAU, CPI, ARPU, etc.)
- The key elements of a successful mobile marketing strategy
- How it should evolve over time
- Tactical tips and pitfalls to avoid
- Tools of the trade

Aurelie Guerrieri is a leading global catalyst in mobile advertising and a champion for diversification of the wireless ecosystem. Her specializations are in strategic business development, marketing, international expansion and corporate development.

Aurelie is the Founder & President of Akila One, a growth-focused boutique consultancy working with CEOs of digital companies such as LoopUp (IPO'd), Madison-Reed, Udacity, SimplyHired, Koru and FileRight. Presenter: Dennis Conte, CSM / CSPO / SA / PMP / CSP, SolutionsATI Consulting, Inc.

"Kaizen" is Japanese and translates to "A Change for the Better," and came to be synonymous with company-wide efforts to improve upon and intelligently streamline business practices. Simply, every aspect of an organization should, at all times, strive to do what it does better.

In this Webinar, Dennis Conte will share principles of Kaizen that drive continuous improvement, such as Muda (Waste), Muri (Overburden) and Mura (Unevenness).

Attendees will be able to apply the concepts of Muda, Mira, and Mura in their own processes, plus understand how to use "5 Whys" - a root cause analysis method.

Learning Objectives:

2) Be able to see that these concepts apply to just not agile processes, but to all levels of the business.

Changing the Dynamic in Challenging Situations

Tuesday, February 27, 2018
12-1PM PT (3-4PM ET)  |  FREE for WITI Members ($50 Nonmembers)

Presenters: Ciara Gogan

As women in technology, we often feel that we need to work harder and shout louder in order to be given half the recognition of our male peers. What if that weren't true? What if we could change the dynamic?

If we carry ourselves with more confidence and authenticity, we will find that we will be treated differently. If we KNOW what we bring to the table and OWN IT, believing ourselves to be equal, that's what we will find, equality!

Join Empowerment Specialist & Impact Coach, Ciara Gogan, for an interactive session demonstrating the skills you can develop to grow your confidence and shift perceptions. In this webinar you will learn:

How to listen:

- Methods of gaining self-insight
- Tips for assessing your strengths
- Ways to communicate more powerfully with others
- What it takes to start changing the conversation

Ciara has been a woman in technology for over 20 years. She got her start in Telecom when she volunteered to learn the Erickson phone system at the insurance company she worked for. She learned on the job and in formal training, as you do! A skilled Avaya Engineer, Ciara learned to embrace change as voice technology went from TDM to VoIP and then to SIP.

During these changes, she learned more about server and network environments than she ever thought she would. She used this love of change when she decided on a major career shift to coaching.

Ciara's passion is helping her clients attain the life they want, on their terms. She helps them to find their voice, deal with the "mean girl" in their head, and gain meaningful insight into themselves. Her clients learn how to prioritize in their work and home lives, how to be recognized as strategic members of their teams, and how to take their rightful place in the world!

Ciara attained her Master Professional Life Coach certification at Impact Coaching Academy, learning the skills that have helped thousands of people just like you. She is also a Huffington Post Contributor, writes for Thrive Global, is a change.org Petitioners Coach, and has been a feature on Women You Should Know. All of this, plus her 20+ years of analytical experience in technology, can help you to make real, positive changes in your life.

The Ally's Journey: The 5-Step Process to Become an Inclusionary Leader

Wednesday, March 7, 2018
12-1PM PT (3-4PM ET)  |  FREE for WITI Members ($50 Nonmembers)

Presenters: A Dale Thomas Vaughn

"When men help us (with the gender equality movement) change happens 10x faster,"
Patricia Arquette

How do we engage men as allies in the intersectional movement toward equality and inclusion? What can they do to help? What can you do? What do they need to do themselves?

Each ally sets out on a personal journey to understand their privilege so they can leverage it across levels of intersectionality. That can be uncomfortable at first, but often becomes extremely empowering. Each ally starts their learning with blind spots and unconscious biases, which they need to confront within a safe space and with supportive guidance instead of shame and blame. Each ally eventually uncovers the difference between intention and impact, expanding their capacity to own their impact while connecting to the experiences of others. From this empathy grows new tools, habits, connections, behaviors and confidence in bringing more allies to the table. The ally's journey to becoming woke is a repeatable process, and everyone wins, so all we need to do is focus on building this system into our culture en masse.

In this webinar, Dale Thomas Vaughn will share stories from allies about their experiences from unconscious bystander to "woke." You will learn:

- How to recruit male allies to help end inequality in representation and leadership.
- Why "unconscious bias" training doesn't work by itself.
- How to change your conversation with male colleagues from shame and blame to safety and accountability.

Dale Thomas Vaughn is the co-founder of the Better Man Conference and the Inclusionary Leadership Group. He has set out a path for allyship within multiple FORTUNE 500 companies, and has been seen as an expert on CNN, BBC, and MariaShriver.com. As an activist at the forefront of the conversation around gender equality and healthy masculinity, Dale was acknowledged as a "leader of men of quality" by feminist attorney Gloria Allred, and presented at the International Conference on Masculinities alongside other leaders like Gloria Steinem, Sheryl Sandberg and Michael Kimmel.
