Investments in Women-Led Companies
$61.2M (7%) of the $848M in total funding for the week went to women.
Melanie Matheu, CEO & coFounder of Prellis Biologics, closed a $17M Series C for $46.9M in total capital.
Prellis Biologics is dedicated to ending the global human organ shortage by building real medical solutions that leverage the power of human cells to re-create tissues and organs for transplantation.
Hetal Mehta, CEO & coFounder of iQuantum, closed her first funding, a $3M Seed round.
iQuantum is a one-stop AI-powered eProcurement SaaS solution suite that unifies and simplifies multiple areas of the sourcing and purchasing process.
Ravital Solomon , CEO & coFounder of Sunscreen, closed a $4.6M Seed round for $5.2M in total capital.
Sunscreen is developing the Privacy engine of the new web using fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) which allows computations to be performed on encrypted data without needing to decrypt it.
Christina Lopes, CEO & coFounder of Fidocure, closed an undisclosed amount Series B for $15M in total capital.
Fidocure (FKA One Health) is a social impact company. We are the first to bring precision medicine to dogs with cancer, beginning by offering them access to cutting edge human clinical trials at no cost.
Michelle Zhu, CEO & coFounder of Huue, closed a $14.6M Series A for $17.2M in total capital.
Huue uses biotechnology to create the world’s most sustainable dyes, and has created the only dye technology that is sustainable and compatible with existing manufacturing as a one to one solution.
Kristy Kim, CEO & coFounder of TomoCredit, closed a $22M Series B for $39M in total capital.
TomoCredit issues the smartest consumer credit card that does not require a credit score for approval, helping young adults build and establish good credit through next gen financial technology.

Lori Harmon moved from NetApp to Cloudflare as Head of Business Development in June, 2022.
Marcy Campbell moved from PayPal to Boomi as Chief Revenue Officer in May, 2022.
Julie Tran moved from Myovant Sciences to Freenome as Chief People Officer in May, 2022.
Suzy Seandel moved from Network General to 8x8 as Chief Accounting Officer this month.
Christine Napoli joined the team at MariaDB as CFO this month.
Susan Emery joined the team at iQuantum as VP Strategy & Marketing this month.
Tammy Sexton joined the team at Skyflow as Chief Revenue Officer this month.
Sana Hafeez moved from Tophatter to Unlearn.AI as Head of People Operations in May, 2022.
Kim Krenzler joined the team at Zesty.ai as Head of People & Culture in May, 2022.
Linda Tong moved from AppDynamics to Webflow as COO this month.

Women Joining Boards of Directors
Krista Anderson-Copperman, Chief Customer Officer of Okta has joined the board at Asana this month.
Christine A Russell, CFO of PDF Solutions has joined the board at MariaDB this month.
Lisa Kelly-Croswell, Chief Human Resources Officer of Boston Medical Center Health System has joined the board at Eiger Biopharmaceuticals this month.
Ellie Mertz, VP Finance of Airbnb has joined the board at DoorDash this month.
Tamara Fountain, surgeon of Ophthalmology Partners has joined the board at Sight Sciences this month.
