$101M (17%) of the $592M in total fundings for the week went to women.
Ann Garnier, CEO & coFounder of Midday, closed a $2.5M seed round for $2.8M in total capital.
Midday is a digital platform for menopause and midlife women's health.
Fleur Heyns, CEO & coFounder of Proof of Impact, closed a $6M seed round for $8.3M in total capital.
Proof of Impact is leading the next evolution of business intelligence through verified ESG & Impact Data.
Jennifer Schneider, CEO & coFounder of Homeward, closed a $50M Series B for $70M in total capital.
Homeward is rearchitecting rural health and care for the 60 million Americans living in rural communities.
Mariam Maghribi, CEO & coFounder of Atia Vision, closed a $42M Series E for $82.4M in total capital.
Atia Medical is developing a safe and controllable presbyopia correcting IOL that aims to restore the full range of functional vision in cataract patients.

Acquisitions of Women-led Companies
Topia acquired Pearl Global Tech for an undisclosed amount. Julie Pearl is Pearl's CEO & Cofounder.
Pearl Global Tech provides a global immigration knowledge portal with millions of dollars of legal work product, updated daily, for firms to white-label & brand.
OfficeTogether was acquired by Envoy for an undisclosed amount. Amy Yin is OfficeTogether's CEO & Founder.

Soraya Johnson joined the team at Sanctuary as Editor In Chief in July, 2022..
Elaine Foreman moved from Topia to WideOrbit as General Counsel in June, 2022.
Noelle Sadler joined the team at thredUP as CMO this month.
Blaire Bernard joined the team at WelbeHealth as General Counsel this month.
Bonnie Loo joined the team at Infima Technologies as Director of Operations this month.
Deeksha Hebbar joined the team at Sonder as COO this month.
Tatyana Boone joined the team at Felix Biotechnology as COO in June, 2022.

Heather Knight, Division President of Baxter Healthcare has joined the board at Channel Medsystems this month.
