Access to education is an issue that still disproportionately stops girls around the world from living a safe, happy and prosperous life. Education is not only a tool for empowerment, but is also the best way of escaping poverty - meaning women are deprived both educationally and economically.

We look at the past, present and future of campaigning and ask who will continue to fight for change.
