Laurie Yoler has been helping innovative technology companies grow for over 25 years as an executive, advisor, investor, and board member. She has served on the boards of public companies, private companies, and non-profit organizations. Currently Senior Vice President for Qualcomm, she was previously a founding Managing Director at GrowthPoint Technology Partners, helping entrepreneurs to build strategic alliances, complete M&A transactions, and raise capital. Prior, Laurie was chief development officer at Intellectual Ventures, exploring invention and investment opportunities in a wide variety of technology areas. She has been an integral part of the development and launch of many new innovations and products, both from within large companies like Visa, Sun Microsystems, and Accenture, and as one of a small group of founders/investors of a new entrepreneurial venture with a radical idea like Tesla Motors, DNA Direct, and Packet Design.

Laurie has served on the board of directors of Tesla Motors since its founding, and also serves on the board of directors of the Washington State University Research Foundation, and the advisory boards of Scripted, Curious, and Silicon Valley Comes to UK. She previously served on the public company Interactive Investor (until it was acquired by AMP), the advisory board of DNA Direct (acquired by Medco), and the technical advisory board of Index Ventures.
