Alaina Percival is Chief Executive Officer and Board Chair at Women Who Code, with which she has been involved since 2011, driving the organization's strategic goals, partnerships, and sponsorships. She is also an Advisor for CodePath, the first mobile developer school that is free for engineers.

Alaina spent the first three years of her career working at the PUMA headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany as the International Niche Product Manager. Upon completing her MBA, she accepted a Brand Marketing Manager position for Nfinity, a performance footwear company, where she led the rollout of the first women-specific volleyball and basketball shoes. Her migration to the technical sector took place in 2010. Her tech industry experience includes heading up developer relations at top technical recruiting firm Riviera Partners, and working as Director of Marketing for Snipit, a startup which was eventually acquired by Yahoo!

Alaina was invited to speak this year at the Belfast Technology Conference, which brought together business leaders and politicians from Belfast, Europe, and the US to discuss emerging technologies and best technology industry practices. She has also been a featured speaker at She Talks Forum discussing Women In Tech, The O'Reilly Fluent Conference discussing how to master the technologies driving the web, and has been interviewed by the Huffington Post and Women 2.0 to share her expertise on best practices for female engineers to advance their careers.

Alaina lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband and is active in both the technology and education circles. She has traveled to more than 60 countries and speaks fluent German.
