As Vice Pesident of Global Strategy at PayPal, Daniela and her team are responsible for supporting the CEO and the Executive team in developing the company’s future. This includes articulating the vision and defining the strategies that will enable PayPal to reach its goals. Daniela feels very passionate about PayPal's ability to truly disrupt payments and change how people shop and think about their finances.
Previously, Daniela was SVP of Global Strategy at Visa and led the "corporate product" group. Earlier in her career she was a consultant at McKinsey & Co. (where she focused on FMCG, retail, and eCommerce clients), and held various finance, sales and marketing positions at Nestlé. She also co-founded a startup and opened and ran its West Coast Office.
Daniela has lived and worked on three continents. She is fluent in German, English, and French and holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Fribourg and an MBA from IMD, both in Switzerland.
