Jennifer Terry-Tharp leads a team of global professionals responsible for attracting talent at AT&T through headhunting, advertising, branding, mobile presence, social media, and diversity recruitment. Using technology and a practical approach, she has evolved the AT&T talent attraction strategy and enhanced the company's image as an employer. A frequent featured speaker and panelist, she is also a member of the HR Policy Association's Jobipedia.org project.
Jenn has been quoted in several publications as an expert on recruitment trends and technology. Under her leadership, AT&T has garnered positive coverage from several national outlets including Good Morning America, Fox & Friends, and The White House. As well, AT&T has been recognized for excellence in several areas of its talent attraction strategy, including; a Webby and Electronic Recruiting Exhchange (ERE) Best Corporate Career Site; a MobileWeb Award; OnRec Honors for Best Mobile Employment Site, and recognition as the "best use of technology" by HR Executive Magazine for the iPad app used to collect information at events. AT&T's leadership in military recruitment practices garnered the ERE prize for Top Military Recruitment Program and established AT&T as a national leader, with an upcoming featured appearance being filmed for the Pentagon Channel.
