From National Airport:
Take the George Washington Parkway north towards I-395 and Washington, DC.
Follow the signs across the 14th Street Bridge. Take the 12th Street,
NW/Downtown exit from 395, and take 12th Street north to H Street. Turn
right on H Street. The Washington Convention Center will be on your left.
There is no public parking at the Washington Convention Center. There are
public parking lots located near the facility. Parking fees range from $5 to
$12 in downtown Washington, DC.
You may also take Metro's Yellow line train from a platform adjacent to the
airport to the Gallery Place/Chinatown metro stop. Exit the station at the
9th & G Streets' exit. Walk one block north from the G Street exit and the
Convention Center will be on your left.
From Dulles Airport:
Take the Dulles Airport Access Road east to I-66 and Washington, DC. Take
I-66 east to Washington, DC. I-66 becomes Constitution Avenue. Continue on
Constitution Avenue to 12th Street, NW. Turn left on 12th Street. Turn right
on H Street. The Washington Convention Center will be on your left.
There is no public parking at the Washington Convention Center. There are
public parking lots located near the facility. Parking fees range from $5 to
$12 in downtown Washington, DC.
Please note: I-66 is aggressively policed for high occupancy vehicles (HOV)
(two or more passengers) during morning rush hour (6:30am-9:00am). While it
is legal for vehicles coming directly from Dulles Airport to use I-66,
regardless of the number of passengers, you may be stopped and asked for
proof of your recent arrival into Dulles Airport. The same rules apply when
leaving the city during afternoon rush hour (4:00pm-6:30pm). You may use the
HOV restricted lanes on I-66 from Washington DC if you are heading directly
to Dulles Airport If you are not travelling directly from or to Dulles
Airport, and do not meet the HOV requirement, you will be ticketed.
From Virginia:
Traveling north: Take I-95 to I-395. Take I-395 north to Washington, DC.
Take the 12th Street, NW/Downtown exit from 395, and take 12th Street north
to H Street. Turn right on H Street. The Washington Convention Center will
be on your left.
Please Note: the center lanes of I-395 are designated as a High Occupancy
Vehicle (HOV) (three or more people) route into Washington, DC during
morning rush hour Monday through Friday (6:30am-9:00am). If you are
travelling with fewer than three people, and arrive during morning rush
hour, please use the (non-HOV) regular travel lanes of I-395 to avoid being
ticketed.
Traveling south: Take I-495 to I-66. Take I-66 east to Washington, DC. Take
the Route 50/Constitution Avenue exit. Take Constitution Avenue east to 12th
Street. Turn left on 12th Street to H Street. Turn right on H Street. The
Washington Convention Center will be on your left.
Please Note: I-66 is designated as a High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV)(two or
more people) route into Washington, DC during morning rush hour Monday
through Friday (6:30am - 9:00am). If you are travelling with fewer than two
people, and arrive during morning rush hour, take I-495 south to I-395 for

From Maryland:
From Maryland points North of Washington, DC: Take I-95 South to the
Baltimore Washington Parkway toward Washington. Take the New York Avenue
Exit and turn left onto 9th Street, The Washington Convention Center is on
the right.
From Maryland points West of Washington, DC: Take 1-270 to the Washington
Beltway 495 West toward Northern Virginia. Take the George Washington (GW)
Parkway to 395 North. Take the 12th Street Exit. Remain on 12th Street and
then turn right onto New York Avenue and right onto 9th Street. The
Washington Convention Center is on the right.
From Maryland points East of Washington, DC: Take Route 50 to New York
Avenue. Turn left onto 9th Street, just past New York Avenue. The Washington
Convention Center is on the right.
