Chengya Liang is a business professional with a focus on Product Management, Marketing, Strategy, and General Management in the life science and healthcare industry. She has worked as a Cardiologist where she gained wide-ranging experience in clinical medicine; as a Senior Scientist in different organizations where she gained extensive R&D experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries; and as a Chief Strategist of Social Media Marketing and eBusiness for a nationally recognized online healthcare community.
Dr. Liang graduated from the Thermo Fisher Scientific Graduated Leadership Development Program in 2015 and became a Senior Manager in Thermo Fisher Scientific. Her leadership program experience was featured in The Association for Women in Science (AWIS) magazine.
She has authored more than 20 conference and journal papers published in renowned academic journals, as well as an academic book chapter. She has also presented at more than 20 of the most widely attended national and international academic conferences, and has won many honors and awards during her career. Dr. Liang earned her MD from Shandong University, PhD from Virginia Tech, and MBA from the Samuel Curtis Johnson School at Cornell University.
