Mara Segal is an entrepreneurial executive devoted to building great brands and innovative consumer technology experiences. Ms. Segal utilizes her multidisciplinary background in product development, UX/design management, strategy, and branding to create value in today's crowded marketplace. Currently Ms. Segal is VP of Product and Marketing at the Samsung Accelerator where she leads the product team responsible for software on the Family Hub connected refrigerator (CES Innovation Award winner 2016), following an acquisition by Samsung Digital Appliances.

Previously, Ms. Segal was founder/CEO of U*tique, an automated retail/connected store company that was backed by top venture capital firms and acquired in 2013. She has a professional foundation in brand strategy and global qualitative market research for major brands (Pepsi, Unilever, Yahoo!). She received her BA with Honors in Architecture from Yale University.
