Charu Lavania is a Director of Engineering at Kaiser Permanente IT, where she currently leads the engineering teams that are responsible for developing Kaiser Permanente's website. Ms. Lavania has over 20 years of experience of working in the IT industry, most of it with the healthcare domain. She is very passionate about the pace at which the healthcare industry is evolving, and finds that the domain keeps her excited about coming to work every day. Ms. Lavania has been leading delivery teams for over 10 years now.

Apart from work, as her children move out and become independent, Ms. Lavania would like to devote her time towards social causes.
