From start-ups to billion-dollar technology businesses, Barbara Nelson brings over 20 years of experience in executive leadership. She currently is VP/GM of consumer cloud services and software products at Western Digital.

Ms. Nelson has a strong entrepreneurial track record, growing businesses from concept to over $100M four times in three different companies. She was EVP/GM of IronKey by Imation, a cloud enterprise security business. She has been a CEO twice, most recently at Element Labs, a market leader in high-end video software and lighting systems for entertainment and architecture. Prior she was CEO of NeoScale systems, a pioneer in enterprise storage security. She has led tape, media, and hard drive businesses at Quantum and memory businesses at Intel. Ms. Nelson has a BSEE from Stanford University. For fun, she's traveled to over 80 countries with her husband and plays keyboard in a rock band.
