Jillian Scott is the Director of the TechWomen program at the Institute of International Education, leading the U.S. State Department's mentorship and exchange program for emerging women leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) from 22 countries in Africa, the Middle East, and South and Central Asia. She has led international, women-focused programming for a decade, designing and managing a portfolio of ICT, mentorship, leadership, and education programs in more than 25 countries. Passionate about supporting women to empower themselves through technology and create sustainable change in their communities, Ms. Scott works to build and scale STEM programs with the aim of advancing development outcomes. Herself a science geek, Ms. Scott earned a undergraduate degree in human physiology and a masters degree in public health.
