Employers today are seeking strong analytical skills - and critical thinking is a necessity to be effective. Critical thinking is about evaluating information and then making decisions based on the findings. Critical thinking enables decision-making when solving problems for the business and the customer. In this session, you'll participate in highly interactive circles to learn and practice the skills involved, along with the process. Each circle will be tasked with using the critical thinking process to recommend solutions to challenges presented to each table. Each table will then share their challenges and recommended solutions to the audience. No matter what your field, being good at analysis means having the skills to examine voluminous data, to find the trends, and apply critical thinking to develop solutions that stick. You must go beyond just reading and potentially understanding the information - to making sense of it, seeing patterns, and drawing useful conclusions.
