Knowledge mining is an emerging discipline in artificial intelligence (AI) that uses a combination of intelligent services to quickly learn from vast amounts of information. It allows organizations to deeply understand and easily explore information, uncover hidden insights, and find relationships and patterns at scale.
During this informative session, Niloofar will touch on the key capabilities, highlight technical industry use cases, value propositions, and frameworks used. We will also discuss the role of women in the field of knowledge mining and how they can contribute to its growth and development.

Niloofar Nayebi is a Senior Manager in Avanade’s Global Data & AI Center of Excellence and has significant expertise in industrial AI solutions. Along with data science and AI concepts around machine learning, production optimization, price optimization, MLOps and using unstructured IoT, text and image data, she also drives Digital Twin and Knowledge Mining core foundation to create assets that can facilitate sales and delivery in the AI space.
Before joining Avanade, she worked at the National Institute for Nano Technology where she initiated a new in silico method for reviving target material from tailing pond using a molecular dynamics simulation method.
Niloofar is also a data science mentor outside of Avanade and has worked with external programs like DS4A (Data Science for All) to mentor and technically coach women from non-technical and diverse backgrounds to enter the field of data science and AI.
