Featured Speaker(s)

Vin Cipolla has been a pioneer in outsourcing solutions as the founder and chief executive officer of three successful companies over 20 years, serving the financial services, telecommunications, consumer goods and media industries.

Before joining Veritude in 2003, Cipolla was chairman and chief executive officer of HNW, a New York-based company that is the leading provider of high-net-worth publishing software and marketing solutions for top-tier financial services companies. Prior to launching HNW, he founded Pamet, a Web marketing agency and IT consulting company with offices in Boston, Washington, D.C., London and Paris. After Pamet was sold to Teletech Holdings in 1999, Cipolla served as chief executive officer of both Pamet and Digital Creators, a subsidiary e-learning company; he was also chief marketing officer of Teletech.

Following a long-standing interest in preservation and economic development, Cipolla took a four-year hiatus from Pamet’s day-to-day operations to serve as executive vice president of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the country’s largest historic preservation organization. Among his many responsibilities with the Trust, he was the publisher of Preservation magazine, which under his leadership received a National Magazine Award.

Previously, Cipolla was president of Ingalls, Quinn and Johnson, a top 20 US advertising agency, and chief executive officer of The Cipolla Group, a diversified marketing communications company, established in 1983 and later acquired by Ingalls. He also held management positions with Warner Communications (now Time Warner) and Avon Products.

Among his extensive civic involvement, Cipolla has been chairman of the board of trustees of the Institute of Contemporary Art since 1996. He is also a trustee of the Orton Family Foundation and Clark University, a director of MASSInc, and a former board member of national technology and Internet policy organizations, including the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), where he was vice chairman.

Cipolla is a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of Clark University, and an honorary Beta Gamma Sigma inductee of its graduate business school.
