Jean Davis, head of IT, eCommerce and Operations at Wachovia Corporation, joined the company in 1985. Her previous titles included Director of Human Resources, merger coordinator for Virginia Operations, regional leader of the Piedmont Triad Region, Consumer Financial Services Support Group, city executive for Chapel Hill, N.C., Corporate Calling Officer, and National Bank representative. She graduated with a B.A. in political science and industrial relations from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and has also earned an M.B.A. from Duke University. Jean is a native of Durham, North Carolina; and serves as an Advisory board member for Bryan School of Business and Economics at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro; is a member of the board of visitors at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill; and also serves as a board member for the YMCA of Forsyth County.
