Come one, come all! Please join us for the upcoming Women In Technology International event on Thursday, December 3rd!

We are planning to wrap up a great year by highlighting how to position yourself for the future you want. This will be an informal evening event structured to maximize your networking interests, provide inspiration as well as action items to kick off 2016 in a powerful way! We are happy to partner with the DFW Women Who Code organization and want to extend the invite to each of our members, as well as those interested in joining!

In This Competitive Market: "Code is Your Currency"

Our speaker will be Lauren Hasson, who is a Technology Advisor, Speaker, and Writer with extensive hands-on experience building name-brand software and mobile apps. She will be sharing some of her insights regarding career decisions, technology adoption, and how to leverage your technical and soft skills - even in situations of being underestimated. Lauren will get us thinking about how “Code is Your Currency” and show you how to leverage your technical skills to remain a valuable resource in an quickly changing industry.

About Lauren Hasson
Lauren completed a triple major with honors in four years at Duke University in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Economics. Her professional experience includes time as an investment banker in Silicon Valley, founding a profitable startup, time developing award-winning iOS mobile apps, and, most recently, being a Mentor for the REVTECH Accelerator and an Advisor for the North Texas Enterprise Center. Lauren’s current venture is growing her latest startup, LH&Co. - a fractional CTO and technology advisory company. She is also writing her first book which will launch this spring in tandem with a nationwide tour.
