Mushk Mundiwala - Quality Director, Personal Lines

Mushk has been in the Information Technology sector since last 20 years. She joined The Hartford as an employee in 2010 and played multiple roles moving up the ladder from a Tester to Test Lead to Project Manager to Application Owner and now a Quality Director. She is currently accountable for overall quality of Level 1 program in Personal Lines. In this role she is responsible for a quality delivery in the fast pace world and implement the change from manual to Automation, DevOps and Agile delivery in order to achieve speed to market.

Julie Reed - VP, Infrastructure Service Management

Julie Reed has been in the Information Technology field for over 30 years. She started at The Harford in 2006 and has held several leadership positions in IT. She is currently leading the End User Services, Collaboration Technology and Service Management organization in Infrastructure Services. Major areas of focus that Julie is looking to mature are increased stability of IT technology and applications, maturing The Hartford to a new age Collaboration and End User Services technology and workflow capability.

Amanda Merola - Associate Application Developer, Enterprise Shared Services

Amanda Merola has been with the Hartford for four years. Her career began in the Claims Organization, as a member of the Customer Care Team, followed by a role as a General Liability Claims Adjuster handling the Hartford's Claim Plus Accounts. In 2018 she participated in the Hartford's Developer Training Program, HartCode Academy, which provided employees from non-technical backgrounds the skills and knowledge to become junior developers. Currently she is an Associate Application Developer for Enterprise Shared Services, primarily focusing on Click to Engage.

Nathaly Munoz - Data Engineer, The Hartford

I specialize in holistic system development, currently, with a focus on Data. I started out washing dishes in the restaurant industry, and now I'm a Data Engineer at The Hartford. I got into technology around 2012 and eventually gained a background in technical analysis, hardware, and software troubleshooting. Today, I build systems that help teams at The Hartford optimize data accuracy and efficiency. I am obsessed with systems engineering and the proper way to build systems while considering the entire business ecosystem throughout the lifecycle of a project.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering Technology with a focus on Mechatronic systems. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science.

Moderator: Liz Trouern-Trend is a data and analytics professional with over 15 years of experience in insurance and consulting. She joined The Hartford in 2016 to lead the enterprise deployment of Tableau and subsequently took on service ownership of enterprise analytics platforms and strategic self-service data tools. In her current role as AVP, Data & Analytics Enablement Services, Liz is responsible for Business Intelligence, Data Science, and Data Delivery platform and customer enablement. She is also responsible for leading the modernization of a new cloud data ecosystem for The Hartford.
