Building Rapport in a Virtual Environment.

How to Build Rapport when Meeting Virtually

Although there are practices that build rapport whether we are in-person or virtual, virtual meetings carry unique considerations. Face-to-face gestures and speech patterns can come across differently, when we are separated by a screen. In this webinar, WITI members and guests will discover practices that build rapport when meeting with colleagues and clients virtually. These practices can help them move forward in their careers.

Topics will include

- The on-screen meeting and our brain
- Ideas for launching a conversion online
- Tips for tailoring your speaking style, so you are more likely to be heard
- Gestures that make others feel heard
- Common habits that can range from distarcting to disgusting when online

WITI Members and guests will leave with practical, concrete actions they can implement immediately.

Webinar will run 45 min. Q & A will follow. (Including struggles the webinar did not address)
