Arya Murali

Arya Murali cares deeply about education, inclusion, and entrepreneurship and presently serves as the VP, India at Women in Technology International, a 30 year old pioneer in empowering women in technology across the globe. Having been closely associated with women in tech ecosystem in India for over 6 years, she has in the past built a community of 1000+ women in tech as the lead for Google Women Techmakers, Cochin; and impacted 5000+ young women in tech through programs such as the Women in Tech Learning program (wit.rethinkfoundation.in).

An engineer by education, Arya is also a TEDx speaker, Jagriti Yatri, and one of the 18 young women to receive the prestigious WeTech Qualcomm Global Scholarship. A prominent proponent of the importance of scholarships and mentorships in empowering women, she is the author of an eBook on applying to opportunities (handbook.aryamurali.com), host of the "Writing a Winning Scholarship Application'' podcast and runs a personal initiative Godmothers (godmothers.in) to support young women.

Rakhi Syaman

A seasoned sales manager, Rakhi is an Enterprise Sales Manager at Tableau Software, Gurgaon. Having pursued her MBA in General Management from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore, Rakhi has previously worked with tech giants such as Oracle, SAP, LinkedIn, IBM and Lunexa.

Liyana Sahir

Liyana is a Computer Science & Engineering graduate who has been working towards levelling the playing field for the marginalized in tech for the past 4 years. During her undergrad, she championed to put together the first ever 24 hour women hackathon in the region, later going on to become the founding student coordinator of SHE, a project under the All India Council for Technical Education to take a more assertive role in imparting female engineering students at the grassroots level the exposure needed to eventually fulfill their career demands in a globalized world. She led the organization in its initial course of establishment, coordinating sessions with various industry experts and working with engineering students of all years and branches of study.

As a computer science engineer, Liyana is fascinated by Deep Learning, Social Network Analysis, and Ethics in AI. You can win her heart over with a good book or a well made cup of tea.

Sharon Rachel Manu

Sharon Rachel Manu is a spontaneous individual, excited by initiatives that have people, social impact and technology at their core. A computer science major, she headed numerous large-scale events during her college days, including a 24-hour social innovation hackathon, a national level AI Summit and a half-marathon championing organ donation.

Sharon is also a GHCI Scholar 2017 (Grace Hopper Celebrations India) and Jagriti Yatri 2019. She is currently working at Deloitte Hyderabad as a Business Analyst, applying her business analysis and data visualization prowess to the firm's Performance Management project, which caters to over 3 lakh professionals globally. Her work has given her extensive insights into how people, talent and skills can be best harnessed, and helped her forge a deep understanding of strategic project management. She is keen on using her learnings, skills and experiences to build a career in international development consulting and change management. Outside of work, Sharon is a passionate Toastmaster, a spirited Throwball player and an Origami artist in the making.

Enfa George

Enfa Rose George is passionate about two main things - Social Impact and AI. Cofounder of the national non-profit - Pehia Foundation in her very first year as an undergrad, she has actively worked on improving visibility and access in tech for women, transgender and other gender minorities in Kerala. A Social Impact Innovator, she built the organisation to be one of the largest women-in-tech nonprofits of the state. Her work has impacted over 500+ women in her three years with the organisation and was nominated for Asianet Sthree Shakthi Awards in 2018. An active voice in the Diversity and Inclusion space in Kerala, she is also a Tedx Speaker and a Google WomenTechMaker Scholar 2019.

An engineer as a full time profession, she currently works as a Product Development Engineer with UST and is all set to join for her Masters in Computer Science program this fall. She works in the capacity of Community Manager with WITI India.

Madhura Joshi

Madhura Joshi is a recent Computer Science Engineering graduate, a tech enthusiast and a community aficionado who loves analyzing and solving problems. An active member of Women Tech Makers-Chennai and Google Developer Group-Chennai, she is currently an ML Research Intern at Saama Technologies, Chennai. Madhura is an aspiring data scientist with a few projects in the domain under her belt. Madhura feels that having studied Biology instead of Computer science during high school has given her an extra edge to understand the biological perspective of computer science problems, and is fascinated by how much the advancements in AI has helped machines get closer to imitating the human brain. She is proud of her creative mind, and when she is not studying or programming you can find her working on her side hustle, thinking about the next stationery to buy, and having ice creams and coffee. Oh, and also - she's an artist who is mad about mandalas and watercolors.
