WITI Las Vegas July meeting - Entrepreneurs

Assess your abilities to start your own business. Learn the essential elements! This session is for anyone ever thinking, dreaming about or wanting to start a business one day.

In this meeting we will have a representative from NMI (Nevada Microenterprise Initiative) discuss the steps to creating a business. We will also have a speaker come in to briefly discuss the Angel Network.

NMI is a private non-profit community development financial institution founded in 1991. they provide business tools to assist you in overcoming barriers that you may face in starting or expanding your business. They help to enhance the economic of individuals through entrepreneurial training, technical assistance and access to loans for new and expanding businesses throughout the State of Nevada.

Anna Siefert
Anna continued her business and economic development career by joining Nevada MicroEnterprise Initiative (NMI) in 1995 as a Training Facilitator and Business Technical Advisor to her current position of Operations Manager/WBC Project Director. Prior to joining NMI, Anna owned and managed two very successful businesses; a Business Management consulting firm and retail Florist.

Anna brought to NMI over 27 years of experience and knowledge in finance, banking and retail management, which enable her to assist the micro business owners (start-up and existing) to overcome their many challenges. Since 1991 to date; NMI has assisted over 15,000 Nevadans through entrepreneurial training, technical assistance and microloan programs. In 2000, Anna was awarded SBA’s Financial Services Advocate of The Year.
