Mojgan Nowain has 27 years of Information Technology strategy and solution experience in the financial industry.

After graduating from UCLA Engineering school, Mojgan started her career in a start-up software company providing solutions and services to investment companies. She held various leadership roles managing software design and implementation and building Client Services and Product Management organizations and operating model within the firm.

As she built her career in the financial services, she had the opportunity to build relationships and networking with many top tier global investment firms, software vendors, and consulting companies. She was also able to learn the security industry on the job and gain extensive business knowledge around end-to-end investment cycle. This enabled her to move on and build her own consulting business providing technology solutions and operations consulting services to Asset and Wealth Management companies for a few years.

Mojgan is currently a VP at Capital Group Companies in Information Technology organization where she has multiple roles managing and supporting technology across different business groups.


Carolyn Oswald is a seasoned technical recruiter and employment expert in the LA tech market with 4+ years' experience in the IT & digital talent acquisition space. She earned her degree in Economics and Computer Information Systems from Humboldt State University and is currently working for Q, a growing mid-size IT & Digital talent firm. The company is focused on developing relationships and networking within the technology community in order to find great job opportunities for professionals, and high quality talent for the company's clients. She is very well-networked in the local community, founded the LinuxLA meetup group and is an active volunteer at the SCaLE Linux Expo every year. She's always happy to help advise on career progression, and is a resume expert!

Jessa Santagelo Growth Hacker at UCode. Jessa's field of study is neuropsychobiology; and is an Applied Behavioral Analyst & therapist. At UCode, Jessa develops growth and marketing through data analysis and social ingenuity. Her expertise in behavioral development allows her to continually explore the uncharted landscape of technological education through computer coding languages and developing progressive practices. Jessa has worked with children with special needs for over ten years and is an expert on behavioral development in monozygotic twins on the spectrum of autism. While she lived in San Francisco, she worked as a crisis intervention counselor and therapist with many different outreach programs such as CARC & Juvenile Hall. Jessa has also worked with several charitable foundations and was a director/creator in numerous non-profit foundations before coming aboard as UCode's Growth Hacker.

Nicki Klein Nicki Klein, Co-founder of Shortkey a Mobile app development company. As a start-up entrepreneur, she has insight into bootstrapping a business as well as learning to code in a record amount of time. She is a teacher at Codedistrict Full Stack development progam and contributes value building innovative applications. resourceful technical professional committed to contributing value and creativity in building innovative web and websites.
