Terri West is Senior Vice President, Communications and Investor Relations for Texas Instruments. She has global responsibility for the company's communications with stockholders and the media.

Before her current assignment, Terri was vice president and manager of Corporate Strategic Communications for Texas Instruments. She was responsible for development of the key communications programs and for leading cross-functional teams on critical communications projects.

Prior to that assignment, Terri was Corporate Media Relations Manager for four years. In this position, she handled communications about issues such as employment, financial performance, divestitures, trade, community outreach, and technology.

Terri also worked in corporate Employee Communications for five years where she served as editor of the company newsletter and on-line-news service.

She joined TI in 1978, spending four years as a Publications Specialist while attending college. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Texas in 1982.

Terri is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute, Conference Board, Dallas Arboretum Board of Directors, and Sigma Delta Chi, (Society for Professional Journalists). Terri also served as chair of the Semiconductor Industry Association Communications Committee during the 1992 and 1996 renewals of the U.S.-Japan Semiconductor Trade Agreement.

She lives in Plano, Texas, with her husband Mike and two children.
