Erika Voss

Erika Voss is a Vice President at Capital One Software; an enterprise B2B software business of Capital One, which is dedicated to helping businesses accelerate their cloud and data management journeys at scale. An award winning Security & Engineering professional, Erika was recognized as a 2023 Women’s History Month Leader for her contributions to cybersecurity in ensuring we all continue to set the right “PACE” for our businesses - Preparedness and Cyber Education. Erika serves on the High Tech Crime International Association (HTCIA) as 2nd Vice President, established the ISSA Rainier Chapter in Tacoma, Washington, and teaches both online and in person cybersecurity and engineering courses. Most recently, Erika graduated with her PhD in Technology Innovation with her dissertation about Insider Threats: Recognizing the Early Warning Signs of Human Behavior.

Prior to joining Capital One Software, Erika was the Business Information Security Officer and Global Incident Response Leader for Salesforce Security & Acquisitions. She was responsible for a team of leading incident response and forensics security professionals spanning a global country response posture that provided both threat hunting, proactive red and blue team engagements, and constant training on intelligence, attack vectors, and acquisition integration of security capabilities. Erika has held roles in Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Zillow, and Government that has provided her the ability to be proactive in both leadership and customer partnerships. She is passionate about technology as a whole, developing diversity and inclusion at any opportunity there can be to ensure we are building and fostering our tech industry as a whole to welcome all to the field. Erika truly is the change agent you want to work with, know, and build a long-standing relationship with as you think of your business needs, your technology capabilities, and just to help you feel empowered to accomplish it all.

Helen Norris

Helen Norris is the Chief Information Officer at Chapman University. She has responsibility for all aspects of technology at the university, and also oversees the University Library. She has over 30 years’ experience in IT leadership roles. Helen holds a BA in Mathematics from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland, and an MA in Computer Resource Management and Business Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, and is a certified project manager and a fellow of the Educause Leading Change Institute. She serves as Board Chair for EDUCAUSE. She is a member and former Chair of the Board of Trustees of the National Endowment for Financial Education and for the Southern California Society of Information Management, and previously served as the Director of the Sacramento Women in Technology International network.

Helen is a nationally-known expert on Technology and Cybersecurity in the Higher Education sector, and recently testified before the Senate HELP Committee on Cybersecurity in the Health and Education Sectors

Lea Eriksen

Lea Eriksen is the Director of Technology and Innovation and CIO of the City of Long Beach, a top 10 Digital City. Lea is in charge of implementing the City’s technology vision, developing a staff of 191 FTE and managing a $70 million budget. With 25 years of experience working in local government, Lea’s background includes positions related to economic development, budget and finance, and technology. Prior to her current role, Lea served as the City of Long Beach’s budget manager and assistant finance director.

Before joining the City of Long Beach, Lea spent 16 years with the City of Cincinnati. She has an MBA from Xavier University and graduated cum laude from Miami University. Lea also has extensive experience serving on non-profit boards and committees, including the Long Beach Transit Board, Southern California Society of Information Management and Innovate@UCLA. Lea is passionate about advancing digital equity and using emerging technology and data to solve civic challenges in Long Beach.

Moderator - Louise Brandy

Louise Brandy, Chief Information Officer of QuidelOrtho Corporation, leads the company’s information technology strategy and staff to enhance business teams’ performance and support enterprise goals. This includes all technology functions including business relationship management, infrastructure, enterprise applications, cyber security, and data & analytics.

Ms. Brandy has over three and half decades of experience and a diverse background of expertise in fields including information technology, business transformation, accounting and enterprise architecture.

Ms. Brandy joined Quidel Corp. as Chief Information Officer in 2022 and assumed the role for QuidelOrtho following Quidel’s acquisition of Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. Prior to joining Quidel, she held a variety of positions including Vice President of Enterprise Applications at Essex Property Trust, VP of Product Development at Real Page Inc, VP of Business Applications at CBRE and interim Chief Information Officer with pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and real estate organizations. prior to her IT career, Ms. Brandy help management positions in Accounting with GAAP accounting organizations, advisory board member for AWT, Network Chair for Women in Technology International, and. Ms. Brandy also serves as a member of Chief, a women’s C-level membership network. Ms. Brandy also serves as the 2023 San Diego Heart Walk Chair for the American Heart Association. Ms. Brandy holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
