Frank Shankwitz, a co-founder of the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, will share the story of how one Phoenix child’s wish helped him find his passion and provided the impetus for launching one of the world’s most recognizable children’s charities.
Founded in 1980, Make-A-Wish has grown into the largest wish-granting charity in the world, with 65 chapters in the United States and affiliates in 33 countries on five continents. The Greater Arizona Chapter is the founding chapter of Make-A-Wish. Next year marks the 30th anniversary of this special hometown charity.
Kristin Nelson, a certified Life Success Coach and Consultant, will moderate the event. Nelson works with business professionals and individuals who seek greater life satisfaction through improved personal success, financial prosperity, health and purpose-driven living.
