My experience over the last 25 years at UPMC Health System has involved many areas from Patient Unit activities to Operating Room Scheduling Management at our Presbyterian site to management of Utilization Review, Managed Care Services and Admissions at one of the other hospital sites.

Over the last 5 years, I have been a member of the Electronic Health Record project team working in conjunction with the vendor providing the suite of products to implement the on-line medical record. During this time, I have held positions from application systems analyst to team lead for design, build and implementation. I have also been Functional Manager, Security Lead and Testing/Code Management Coordinator during this timeframe prior to accepting the Project Lead position on the SurgiNet (Surgical Services Applications) team.

As Project Lead for the SurgiNet team, my responsibilities involve assisting in the planning, coordination and management of the design, build and implementation of the suite of applications related to Surgical Services for our multi-facility health system.
