Ann has been a board member of the Sacramento Network of Women in IT International for the past 4 years and currently serves as the Network Director for the 120 member WITI Sacramento network. Ann is a Director at EMC and has more than 20 years of experience in sales and business development doing business with State and Local Government customers nationally. Since coming from a career in Public Finance in 2006, Ann has held a number of roles at EMC where she has worked with EMC sales leaders, management, industry partners and government customers to drive a better understanding of how to do business with state and local government. Ann has served as Chair of TechAmerica's California Procurement Reform Committee and currently represents EMC with a number of industry associations including ITAPs, Comptia/TechAmerica and NASCIO's Corporate Leadership Council. Aside from her corporate and industry association work, Ann is active in the local community with a focus on STEM education and career development for young women. She has also served as a board member of Not Just Animals, a program designed to highlight the value animals can bring to improve youth literacy.

Marc Krichman

Marc Krichman is the President and co-founder of Lantern Data Systems, a business intelligence software and solutions company serving the commercial construction market. A strategic marketing and sales executive with 15+ years construction industry technology experience, Krichman has launched numerous software, subscription, SaaS/Cloud and services products.

As Director of Product Marketing for Trimble's General Contractor and Construction Management division, Marc was a key driver of strategic marketing efforts and market segmentation strategy. He was instrumental in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for Trimble products and managed divisional Independent Software Vendor relationships.

When he's not at work, tinkering in his computer lab or sleeping, Marc enjoys spending time with his family, reading, coaching soccer, running and volunteering at neighborhood school auctions where systems under his management have raised in excess of $250,000 for pre and elementary schools in the downtown Sacramento area.

Trisha Pfluger

Ms. Pfluger is a scientist, inventor and entrepreneur who came to California to research and develop regenerative medical therapies. Prior to founding Juno Biomedical, she studied bioelectricity, stem cell technologies and regenerative medicine at the renowned University of California in Davis. Also an Educator and Writer, Ms. Pfluger spent the last 10 years furthering scientific research and education nationally and internationally.

In 2010, Ms. Pfluger had the rare opportunity to be involved in the establishment and accreditation of the first health professions preparatory school in the Middle East. While in Doha, Qatar and as the Head of the Science Department, she was instrumental in the development of a 35-employee business from the ground up. A Houston native, Ms. Pfluger completed her B.S in Biochemistry at the University of Houston-Downtown. She has worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center, completed two NSF fellowships and interned at multiple clinics in the Houston area. With Juno Biomedical Inc., Ms. Pfluger endeavors to build a bridge between the cutting edge technologies in regenerative medicine and the therapies available for patients in the US and internationally.

Sumi Smith
Acting Chief Information Officer, Caltrans

Ms. Smith is currently the Acting Chief Information Officer at Caltrans where she manages the Caltrans IT organization including project portfolio, software analysis, design and testing, networks, security and oversees operational IT for Caltrans districts. She was previously Assistant CIO and Chief of the Customer Service Division at Caltrans, and Chief of the Project and Portfolio Management Division at the Employment Development Department. Ms. Smith is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, with a degree in Civil Engineering and a certified PMP with over 20 years of experience managing IT and engineering projects both in the public and private sectors.

Ms. Smith was a past Vice President of Education for the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the Project Management Institute. She has also been an instructor in the California State University Sacramento College of Continuing Education and specializing in Project Management, Procurement Management, and Quality Management.

John Lewis is a local entrepreneur, who with his wife Perla, have built several companies, including their most recent venture named Intellaegis, an El Dorado Hills based software firm.

Intellaegis was recently named by the Sacramento Business Journal as one of the Fastest growing local technology companies, as well as one of the best companies to work for in Sacramento; for the 3rd straight year. In addition, American Banker named Intellaegis #11 on their Top 20 List of Tech Companies to watch in 2016. Intellaegis main product is an automated case management workflow software called masterQueue, which is used by half the Top lenders in Auto Finance.

You may have seen some recent news stories about how masterQueue was also used to locate a couple Cold Case Fugitives local Law Enforcement agencies had been spending years looking for. In each case, their masterQueue platform found these criminals in minutes using proprietary algorithms that utilize BigData and PredictiveAnalytics.

John and Perla will celebrate their 27th year in business and marriage together this month, and they have a 22 year old daughter who lives in Wisconsin, and a son who is a Freshman at the University of Washington.
