Speaker Series: "The Long Term Entrepreneur: Paradox or Paradise?"

"THE LONG TERM ENTREPRENEUR: PARADOX OR PARADISE" is an interactive workshop presented by Stan Sewich and Peter Jackson of HRG, Inc.

Join us as the speakers lead a discussion on the innovative concept, "the Long Term Entrepreneur". The subject involves longer-term thinking by the founder or entrepreneur, and how this improves the chances for success of any given entrepreneurial effort, whether or not the founders of the enterprise intend to continue participation for any specific time period.

Discussion points include:

--Most founding CEO’s of technology-based companies find themselves out of a job within 5 to 7 years. Why?

--While nearly every respected business college in the U.S. espouses the critical value of market research and forming sound strategy, most technology start-ups begin with a product in search of a market. Why?

--Research has shown that historical new venture growth models produce results only slightly better than broad stock market measures of return on investment. Why?
