WITI is pleased to present its signature Entrepreneur educational series, the eSeries. The eSeries is designed for early stage, emerging growth information technology and life sciences companies that range from corporation formation to early rounds of mezzanine financing.

Bio of Eddie Wang Rodriguez:

Eddie Rodriguez is a member in the Mintz Levin San Diego office, where
he practices in the Business and Finance Section. His practice is
focused on a full range of corporate and securities matters, including
corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, venture financing,
technology licensing, and general business counseling for both public
and private companies. He has extensive experience with counseling
public and private companies in the life science, telecommunications,
software, hardware, e-commerce and information technology industries in
a broad range of transactional matters.

Bio of Michael J. Kucha:

Mike recently founded Timeline Advisers to counsel companies through the funding process. In 2000, he co-founded the San Diego venture firm Timeline Ventures, which invested in IT and telecom early stage companies.

Mike has over thirty years of business experience with both public and private companies. He has experience as a CEO, board member, corporate lawyer, venture capital investor, and company owner.

For eighteen years Mike served on the board of directors of Iomega Corporation, a NYSE listed company, which produced a line of proprietary computer disk drives and had achieved annual revenues in excess of $1.5 billion. He served on that board’s executive, audit, nominating, and compliance committees. He also served on the boards of a broad range of other companies and currently sits on the boards of Emagia Corporation, a cash management software company, and TechnoCom Corporation, a wireless telecom software company.

In addition, Mike served as the interim, turnaround CEO of Iomega on two occasions, once when the company was in its development stage, and once after the company was public and was operating with annual revenues in excess of $125 million. He also served as the principal officer in the turnaround of Micro Automation, Inc., a manufacturer of capital equipment for the semiconductor industry.

Mike was also a partner of Idanta Partners, a Southern California based venture capital firm. Prior to joining Idanta, Mike was chief legal counsel, an officer, and director of Hydromation Filter Company, then a publicly held manufacturer of a proprietary line of industrial filters. Further, he owned and ran the Dill Company, a manufacturer of price marking labels for the retail trade.

Mike is an honors graduate of both the colleges of engineering (Bachelor and Masters of Civil Engineering) and law (Juris Doctor) of Ohio State University.
