Nancy L. Stagg is a Principal in the San Diego office of Fish & Richardson P.C. Her practice emphasizes the defense of consumer class actions and section 17200 litigation, business and commercial litigation, first amendment and media law, labor & employment litigation, and product liability litigation. Ms. Stagg has represented numerous publicly-held and private companies in nationwide and California class actions alleging false advertising, unfair competition and section 17200 violations, and Consumer Legal Remedies Act ("CLRA") claims, including Attorney General and District Attorney Investigations. Her clients have included consumer electronics manufacturers, product merchandisers, magazine marketers, automobile warranty companies, banks, credit card companies, and telecommunications providers. Ms. Stagg has also represented employers in wage and hour class actions, and other employment litigation. In addition, Ms. Stagg has represented local and national media entities in courtroom access petitions, public record requests, and invasion of privacy and defamation actions.
