Featured Speaker(s)

Jeanette Roache, Founder/President/ExecutiveDirector - Technology Training Foundation of America (TTFA), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit that works with corporations and businesses of all size to secure their out of service computer assets. The higher end computers get refurbished and are donated free of charge to schools and non-profits. The older equipment is recycled, keeping it out of our already over-crowded landfills.

Ms. Roache has over twenty-five years experience working in local, state and federal government. She has worked on White House Advance teams and served in top-level staff positions for two former San Diego City Council members and a California State Legislator. Her professional and result oriented manner in which she conducts business has gained her respect across the aisle in the political arena. In 1990 she resigned her position as Staff Vice President and Director of Community Affairs for the Building Industry Association of San Diego County to establish J. Roache Enterprises, Inc., a full governmental/public relations and marketing firm. In 1996 she took a leave of absence from her business to become Program Director in charge of donor relations and the national expansion of the Computers for Schools Program in California. Her desire to do more to equip under-served schools with computers and address a larger community of disadvantaged individuals and organizations in need of computers and training, founded the Technology Training Foundation of America in 1998. For her work in this area she received the distinguished George Washington Medal of Honor by the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge " San Diego Chapter and most recently awarded a 2008 Channel 10 News Leadership Award. Through the Technology Training Foundation of America, she is taking pride in helping bridge the ‘digital divide’.
