WITI San Diego Presents a Panel Discussion on:

"Are Men Really Five Times Better Than Women at Innovation?"

Our panel this month will surprise you! Two attorneys practicing patent law in San Diego, California, plus a female inventor and entrepreneur! What do they have in common? Some eye-opening insight about female inventors and the progress they have achieved in the past two decades.

Learn a little history about female inventors and how they have doubled their share of patents since 1990. What have they invented? Where are they now? You will hear stories about how vital patents can be for your success in business. Explore the possible reasons for the disparity in invention between men and women. Learn some basics of intellectual property, and how to protect your valuable ideas to give yourself a leg-up in your career or as an entrepreneur. Hear from an inspiring woman who is the Chief Executive Officer of her own company, Tru-Hair, LLC, and has developed HEALTHILOCKS®, an innovative product for revitalizing and treating hair. What steps did she take to get to where she is today?

Don’t sell yourself or your ideas short; believe in yourself! This event will be a great opportunity to network, be you already a patent holder, or learning about the value of patents for the first time. We encourage interested parties to register early, as we expect a large turnout for this provocative and timely subject, being held at the law firm of Fish & Richardson P.C., the highest-ranked law firm for patent work in the country, so it promises to be a great event!
