After working on the new corporate strategy, in 2012 Madeline shifted her focus to developing partnerships for new product development and distribution channels targeting healthcare, home health and family caregivers.

Independa, Inc., the leader in resident-facing care solutions for the senior market, was founded by software executive, Kian Saneii, “after seeing the difficulties and related anguish of elderly caregivers” in his life.... he “wanted to create an offering that would allow caregivers to ‘be there’ regardless of physical distance.” In addition to the relationship with GreatCall, Independa has developed a successful partnership with LG Electronics focused on long-term care technology.

Madeline Pantalone brings more than 25 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, marketing, UI design, product development and program management to GreatCall, Inc. in her role as vice president of business development. GreatCall is an innovator in cellular products and mobile health and safety apps for boomers and seniors. Previously, Madeline worked with technology start-ups, and held executive positions with a number of Fortune 200 companies and regional medical centers.

Kian Saneii �" Founder and CEO, Independa
Kian combines expertise as a computer scientist and experience as a software executive with passion for bringing transformational technologies to market. He founded Independa in 2009 to develop and deliver products and services that help caregivers enable the rapidly growing elderly population to remain independent longer, more safely and more comfortably. Featured in the March 2012 issue of Entrepreneur, he has led the company’s creation of a comprehensive, easy-to-use suite of Integrated CloudCare solutions.

Previously, Saneii was general manager of Websense Wireless, responsible for launching and growing the wireless division from the ground up, including developing new carrier-centric technology and product lines, and establishing new global distribution partners. As vice president of marketing and business development he was responsible for all aspects of global marketing, oversaw strategy, mergers and acquisitions, OEM sales, and business development. Prior to joining Websense, Saneii served as senior vice president of worldwide marketing and business development at IPNet Solutions. Saneii served as senior vice president of worldwide marketing and business development for IMA, Inc., focusing on CRM solutions.
