Kathryn Clubb, who has 20+ years of line management and consulting experience -most recently as the partner in Accenture focusing on Executive Development globally, will provide some provocative thoughts on these questions. The lessons she has learned from a career devoted to working with senior executives creating and executing strategy and developing themselves and their organizations are newly published in a Drucker Foundation book entitled "Leading In Innovation and Organizing for Results."

Ms. Clubb believes leaders who deliver superior business performance, maintain high employee morale and sustain a culture of accountability share distinct characteristics. To be effective, today's leaders shift their thinking, as well as their behavior. Ms. Clubb has helped a broad spectrum of companies and individuals achieve better results through better leadership. She has experience with start-ups and multinational corporations, and has led companies through mergers, new business introductions and turnarounds.

M. Kathryn Clubb's professional and personal passion is assisting companies and individuals achieve breakthrough results. Kathryn has more than 13 years of experience as a strategy consultant and advisor to senior executives. She was a partner at Accenture (formerly Anderson Consulting) in the Strategy Practice and led that practice for the Pacific Region for several years. She helped her clients set new directions, identify critical capabilities and helped guide the transformation to the new state. She assisted in mergers, new business and product start up and turn-around situations. Some of her clients included Microsoft, Genetech, PBMS, and Allied Signal. Her last position at Accenture was Managing Partner of Executive Devolpment. She was responsible for strategizing, developing and managing leadership development for over 1300 partners on a global basis.

For 10 years prior to Accenture, Kathryn worked at Northwest Airlines in a number of line management positions with P&L responsibility. She managed marketing, pricing and a global sales force.

Kathryn is one of many leadership thinkers published in the latest Drucker Foundation book "Leading for Innovation and Organizing for Results."
