WITI Women in Community--Next Event March 20, 2007

The Women in Technology, International (WITI) South Florida Network invites you to our next monthly event on March 20, 2007. The event will be held at the Sterling Worth Cafe in Plantation, FL from 6:00 pm " 8:00 pm.

WITI Women in Community Workshop. Our local WITI chapter has developed a mini-workshop series on the theme, Women in Community. There will be five workshops throughout 2007 focused on building and strengthening our communication channels. There are five pillars of community: our relationship with Self, Family, Friends, Coworkers, and the IT world. Through our communication channels and the pillars of community, we will achieve interconnectedness in our relationships and in technological aspects that affect our success.

Our facilitator for this workshop series is Dr. Helen Turnbull. Dr. Turnbull is the President of Human Facets, an international Organizational Development consulting firm specializing in Change Management, Strategic Planning and Global Diversity. She is also the author of “The Village of Illusions” and her upcoming book “Looking Through the Liking Glass” is a nonfiction book focused on the journey from sabotage to self love.

WITI South Florida Leadership Team. At this first workshop, we would also like to introduce our new leadership team. We will talk about other educational and professional development topics on our 2007 event calendar and solicit your feedback. Please join us in planning events for our South Florida Network and sharing ideas and suggestions to build women in community.
