Join us for an evening of dynamic leadership best practices offered by seasoned pros who have learned the ropes. Results driven project leadership is at stake to deliver effective communication strategies with stakeholders, cross functional department heads, vendors, and highly technical virtual global teams in multiple time zones and cultural environments. This is an opportunity to learn powerful principles of change and discipline with the PMI South Florida Chapter and WITI South Florida as your co-hosts.

We Give Thanks -- Holiday Community Outreach!
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, WITI South Florida has initiated the local community outreach campaign, “we give thanks” to support the Cooperative Feeding Program of Broward County (CFP) through their virtual local charity drive. Please join us in helping to support this wonderful organization in its efforts to help struggling families and the homeless. The campaign will run until Thanksgiving Day, November 27th. Our gift to CFP from WITI and you will be more meaningful with everyone’s support. For more information and to participate, please visit Changing the Present. Katherine Ericsson, PMP, Senior Director for eDiets.com, Inc., Project Management Office (PMO). Katherine is returning to the WITI podium by popular demand! She is former PMO Director for Southern Wine & Spirits, where she formalized the PMO framework that significantly impacted the processes, tools and education to project teams. Katherine has a leadership style that is instrumental in bringing consensus, accountability, and quality systems to any organization. She has spent more than 20 years in aggressive acquisition growth companies. Katherine holds a Bachelor’s degree in business with an accounting concentration and is a certified PMP; she is currently VP of Membership for the PMI South Florida Chapter.

Tracy Kong, Project Manager and Senior Software Engineer, Business Process Delivery, Global Services Division, IBM Corporation. Tracy has worked for IBM for 22 years in several business units, and the last 2 years with Global Services. She has also worked for ISX for 3 years as Director of Service and Support. ISX was formed in 2001 as a result of divestiture from IBM. She manages key customer CRM solution deployments, with responsibility for technical decisions using IBM and vendor call center technologies, where she says, "every second counts" for the customer. Tracy effectively leads several virtual teams simultaneously on multiple complex projects, whose members are located in Australia, India, China, Brazil, and the U.S. Tracy holds a B.S., Pharmacy, from National Taiwan University, M.S.,Computer Science and M.S., Microbiology from Indiana University.

Amy Kaufman, Vice President and Director, Corporate Operations for Peachtree Settlement Funding. Hired in 2002, Amy's responsibilities have included the day-to-day operation and management of the Life Finance, Lottery, Structured Settlement, and Research divisions. Amy also served on the Board of Directors of the Lottery Winners Association. She started her career as a CPA for PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, serving clients in entertainment, media, and publishing. Amy holds a BBA in Accounting, Management, and Law from the Honors Tutorial College of Ohio University.
