Kari Schori
Network Director

Kari Schori is an experienced IT Leader with more than a decade of exposure to growing and developing the technical side of an IT Department. Kari currently serves as CIO at West Point Insurance Services. Kari has helped to grow SDLC processes at West Point Insurance Services to help ensure on time and on target deliveries while continuing to look for improvements in time delivery. Kari has a passion for data and is always looking for Business Intelligence Improvements and opportunities. Kari is the current Executive Network Director for the WITI Tampa Bay Chapter and is thrilled to bring her expertise in technology and leadership to the group. She hopes to help propel the group to the next level through encouraging all members to contribute and leverage their ideas.

Lindsay Brookins
Registration Chair

Lindsay Brookins is a Senior Business Analyst with West Point Insurance Services, located in Pinellas Park, FL. Lindsay's role with WPIS includes maintaining existing clients' websites, assisting with new client/product implementations as well mentoring Junior Business Analysts. Lindsay has grown in her career over the last decade, at WPIS; starting out as Customer Service Representative, then moving to an Underwriter, and eventually moving to the IT Department. In her transition into the IT Department, Lindsay began as a Quality Assurance Analyst, eventually moving into a Business Analyst role in 2010 which is where she found her niche. Lindsay is the current Administrative/Project Management Chair for the WITI Tampa Bay Chapter and looks forward to being more involved with this amazing network of women. Prior to her involvement with WITI, Lindsay has been an active member with Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay.

Ashley Putnam

Ashley Putnam serves as the Sr. Director of Client Services at Sharp Decisions. Ashley has spent her career providing her customers with technology resources and innovative solutions. Ashley is established in the Tampa Tech community. Prior to joining Sharp Decisions, Ashley was one of the first employees hired to grow the Tampa branch of Princeton Information. Ashley is passionate about the Tampa Bay Tech community and has been involved with WITI since 2013.

Ashley is excited to join the 2019 leadership team and be a part of the strategic Corporate Alliance team.

Jane Barr
Sponsorship/Alliance Chair

Jane Barr is the Author of WiseWoman Leadership, a Speaker and Executive Coach promoting the growth of women leaders in technology. Clients reach out to Jane for fresh thinking, an independent sounding board and decision support. For 30 years Jane lead system re-engineering projects with national retailers such as CVS, GAP and REI. She knows what it takes to deliver projects on time and on budget, to build strong teams and to generate business worth millions of dollars.

Barr's coaching certifications include: iPEC Energy Leadership, High Power Presentations, Relationship Savvy, Dale Carnegie Leadership and Communication, and Perfect Customers.

When not coaching, Jane enjoys time with friends, reading, yoga and the occasional white water rafting trip and sky diving adventure.

Susan Garrett
Membership Chair

Dr. Susan Garrett has had many roles in education: high school teacher, university professor, administrator and executive. Her experience in the corporate world includes: organizational consultant, software designer, trainer, instructional designer, professional development consultant and learning strategist, as well as entrepreneur. Dr. Garrett is currently the Program Director for Industry Certifications in the Workforce Institute at St. Petersburg College. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Distributive Education, a Master's of Education in Instructional Technology, and a Ph.D. in Adult Education and Instructional Technology.

Suzanne Ricci
Event Coordinator

With a passion for technology and education, in 2002, at the age of 25, Suzanne established LaSalle Computer Learning Center to fill a market need for an adult learning center with a focus on high-quality, hands-on training and high-level customer and career services. By age 27, she had purchased and sold, for a profit, a second school while still growing and leading LaSalle.

A life-long student with a deep dedication to education and continuous improvement, Suzanne was able to lead and grow LaSalle to become a successful acquisition by the second largest private equity firm specializing in the knowledge sector. After a brief hiatus, and becoming a mom to two amazing boys, Suzanne's dedication and passion for helping others, with their careers, took over. In October 2017, she launched Computer Coach Training Center to continue to help individuals seeking technology training. Under her leadership Computer Coach helps individuals upskill, career change, and advance their careers with hands-on learning, customized study plans, and expert career guidance.

With the belief "if you want to lead, you have to read," she reads more than 50 business-oriented books per year. Her focus on leadership development, sales techniques, and employee development have enabled her to lead her companies to continuous revenue growth. She possesses over 25 vendor-specific and vendor-neutral certifications, a bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and two master's degree from the University of South Florida and is a contributing author to the best-selling career success book "Beat the Curve, headlined by Brian Tracy."

Nichole Fessell
USF Liaison

A Tampa native, currently pursuing a Master's in Biomedical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology at USF. Received a Chemistry BA from USF in 2017. Multi-year experience in surgery and all associated biomedical products, implants, and devices. I have an active interest in advancing diversity in STEM fields, including Women-led entrepreneurship and innovation. President of the student chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) at USF, 2018-2019 and 2019-2020. WITI Tampa USF Liaison, 2019.

As a certified surgical technologist, OR department liaison, and Head of Service of Neuro & Spine Surgery at Largo Medical Center from 2008-2016, I assisted in:

- Development & scale-up of Spine, Neuro, Plastics, Bariatrics, Robotic, & Transplant surgical programs
- Implementation of Supply Chain of the largest surgical supply inventory in West Florida Division
- Purchased surgeon-specific products & instruments, communicated surgeon preferences, generated reports & solutions, managed case load, conducted ongoing staff education

Casandra Lane
Registration Co-Chair

Casandra is a Product Specialist (Dev/Excel) with West Point Insurance Services, focusing on rating products for residential insurance providers. With more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development, as well as IT, Casandra has applied technology to the people side of business, both with and without centralized HRIS. Casandra graduated Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Information Systems and Indiana University School of Law with a Juris Doctor and was admitted to practice law in Indiana. Having moved to Florida in 2015, Casandra is excited about the networking opportunities presented through WITI membership.

Lisa Vuolo
Community Relations Chair

Lisa Vuolo is an technology staffing and consulting professional. She has 20 + years' experience in the IT talent solutions and services space partnering with clients to execute their business strategy and scale effectively. Lisa excels in both building new relationships and maintaining existing relationships, connecting people within her network and providing exceptional customer service. With Eliassen Group, she currently serves as an Account Executive, based in Tampa. Here, she helped initiate the first Tampa Women in Confidence event with over 100 attendees. Lisa is passionate about connecting people and ideas, learning professionally and personally as well as helping women become successful.

Lisa is excited to join the 2019 WITI Tampa Board to continue to advocate for women in technology.
