Kathy Lang, WITI GEN Member and Marquette University CIO, Honored for IT Initiative
Kathy Lang, chief information officer for Marquette University, is one of 10 information technology executives who received the 2008 Midmarket IT Leadership Award at the CIO Decisions Conference™ in California this week. This is the third year the awards have been given.
Lang was honored for her role in building a virtual patrolling center in the university's Department of Public Safety. The Command Information Center links nearly 200 blue light phones and more than 300 cameras to provide surveillance footage of on- and off-campus areas.
