WITI Partnership
WITI is pleased to announce our new partnership with the 451 Global Digital Infrastructure Alliance.
The 451 Alliance is a worldwide network of highly qualified enterprise technology and IT professionals. This member-driven 'think tank' tracks changes in corporate IT and digital infrastructure technologies well in advance of other sources. Members receive critically important research and best practices in their core areas of expertise.
A select group of datacenter, cloud computing, information security, storage, and other IT professionals participate in this industry-leading global alliance. As a WITI partner, your membership is free and includes complete access to the 451 Alliance's weekly research reports (a $20,000 value) and bi-weekly newsletter (a $1,500 value).
In exchange, members simply participate in a brief online survey monthly in their area of IT involvement, for which they also receive the survey results. Join the 451 Global Digital Infrastructure Alliance by applying here.
Below is a brief excerpt from a recent 451 Global Digital Infrastructure Alliance report.

Corporate Cloud Computing Trends
Amazon Leads a Growing IaaS Market,
But Microsoft's Azure Challenges
A March survey of 1,593 members of the 451 Global Digital Infrastructure Alliance looked at cloud computing and other key IT market trends, including enterprise adoption of cloud, IT budgets and spending.
The survey also explored customer satisfaction with leading Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Hosted Private and On-Premises Private Cloud vendors.
IaaS Vendor Outlook. Amazon Web Services (AWS; 57%) currently leads the enterprise Infrastructure-as-a-Service market, but Microsoft's Azure service (43%) has emerged as a strong contender. AWS leads in satisfaction, but Azure is ahead on future spending plans.
Hosted Private Cloud. The hosted private cloud market is highly fragmented, with Rackspace (20%) currently leading VMware vCloud Air (17%) and IBM Cloud/SoftLayer (12%). However, VMware leads in customer satisfaction (61% very satisfied; 40% somewhat) and planned 2016 spending increases.
On-Premises Private Cloud. VMware vCloud (69%) dominates the on-premises private cloud market, but is coming under pressure. VMware vCloud and Cisco (UCS, VMware) lead in terms of satisfaction, but Microsoft (53%) leads in planned 2016 spending increases.
