Damon Carter

Damon Carter is the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Connecticut Attorneys Title Insurance Company (CATIC). Damon is also a member of CATIC's Board of Directors and President of the CATIC Foundation. He has over 20 years of diverse HR leadership experience in multiple industries, including automotive, commercial refrigeration, chemical manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, health care and real estate/title insurance. Throughout his career, Damon has held HR leadership roles with several Fortune 50 companies, including, Aetna, United Technologies Corporation, General Electric and Express Scripts.

Damon is also an Adjunct Research Analyst for IDC, a global provider of market intelligence for the IT industry, and he provides progressive thought leadership in the area of human capital strategy to IDC's IT Executive Program. Additionally, he is a contributing author for CIO.com and recently published a series regarding how IT leaders can effectively address systemic racism in the workplace. Damon is also a member of the Board of Directors for Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters in Hartford, CT. He holds a M.A. degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Detroit-Mercy and a B.S. degree in Psychology from Wayne State University.
