Noelle Downey

Noelle Downey is an English major with a concentration in Creative Writing at Wright State University. During her time at college she has endeavored to engage fully both with her academic and professional life. She is a Latin honors student and extensively involved in campus, serving as the Director of Student Affairs in Student Government, the Chapter President of the Society of Collegiate Leadership and Achievement, and a member of Eta Sigma Phi. She will graduate from college in late April, 2017.
        As for professional experience, Noelle has had many opportunities to learn and grow her editorial skills beyond the classroom. She has worked as both a content creator and editor-in-chief for Odyssey, an international social content platform written for and by millennials. Before her time at WITI, Noelle worked as a senior intern at Starts With Us, Inc., a publishing and media company focused on empowering children and teens and helping them embrace their passions, particularly in the area of STEM. She also has experience working as an Editorial Intern for NV Media, Inc., and as an assistant fiction editor for one of her school’s literary journals. Additionally, when her schedule allows it, Noelle works as a freelance writer, editor, proofreader, and ghostwriter.
