The average person spends more time planning vacations than for their own career development. It has been said, “failing to plan is planning to fail”. During this seminar, we will discuss, Why don’t people don’t plan their careers. What are the benefits of planning? We will highlight 4 keys that will unlock your personal career success plan. During this interactive session we will practice some skills such as preparing SMART Objectives. Please bring some of your corporation’s goals, so we can develop SMART Objectives that relate to your career. At the end of the session, you will take home some tools that will enable you to create your career action plan.

About Our Speaker(s)

Professional coach, Felicia Joyner is a dynamic expert and speaker. She is recognized for her very personal and practical approach. Felicia coaches people, helping them identify and get what they want. With 25 years of entrepreneurial and corporate experience, Felicia helps organizations attract, engage and retain technical associates. Felicia’s powerful presentations have inspired participants to define success and balance and create action plans to achieve life goals. Some of her presentation topics include:

Felicia graduated with a B.A in Spanish from the University of Southern California and has also earned a M.S. Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. She has earned certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Cisco Network Administrator; Project Management Professional Certification. Felicia has worked in various capacities for a number of corporations in the Research Triangle Park, NC area.

Felicia is the Regional Vice President for Women In Technology International (WITI). Her region covers North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, DC. In addition to her love for technology, her interests include working with middle school and high school youth and investing in the stock market.

Felicia’s mission is to lead, counsel and affirm people in order to help them achieve financial and emotional security.
