If you are a professional looking to retain your reputation, build a greater network of influence, and grow in your career, you must embrace social media. - Establish and grow your personal brand
- Engage as an individual on matters that concern your organization
- Use your own authentic voice and ensure that corporate branding and governance guidelines are met
- Incorporate Content, Conversation, Community and Conversion in your social media plan

About Our Speaker(s)

Bio of Sarah Carter, General Manager Social Business, Actiance, Inc.:

At 17 Sarah joined the workforce as a taxi driver and remembers her roots well, so you can expect an interesting tour through the ins and outs of Social Networking and Web 2.0. Anecdotes and customer stories are of course inevitable, (and gratuities are expected). It took a stint with IBM, a software developer in Canada before she moved to the UK IT security market some (ahem) 12 years ago, where she joined the management team of a UK security integrator, floated the company on AIM, acquired others and then sold it.

Having spent four years working with Actiance customers and partners throughout Europe and Asia, Sarah recently relocated to HQ in California. Sarah works with FINRA, IIROC, the FSA and SEBI and runs the social engagement team at Actiance. She works with Actiance clients on best practice social media and collaboration strategies in Europe and the USA and regularly speaks on the topic on both continents.
