Invest Your Way to Financial Empowerment

Presenter: Laurie Itkin

Before the Internet, investing knowledge was limited to the wealthy and the financial advisors who served them. Today there is an infinite amount of free information available online for anyone to learn how to become a smart and successful investor. Ironically, technology has caused many women to feel overwhelmed with information and paralyzed about what choices to make with their hard-earned money.

Even among women who earn the same or more than their spouses, a large percentage believe the stock market is "too risky" for them. But history demonstrates that stocks -- over the long run -- outperform less risky investments such as bonds, CDs, and cash. Most women outlive their spouses which means they need to be even more financially prepared for retirement to ensure they don't outlive their money.

In this webinar, Laurie Itkin, financial advisor and author of the Amazon best seller, Every Woman Should Know Her Options: Invest Your Way to Financial Empowerment, will share the five rules she followed to become a millionaire before she turned 40. You will learn how to:

1) Live below your means and enjoy the financial freedom it provides
2) Conquer the fear of losing all your money in the stock market
3) Leverage tax-deferred retirement accounts to grow your money quickly
4) Master the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) game
5) Protect your assets in case of divorce
