Honoring Carolyn: Announcing the Carolyn Leighton Scholarships for WITI APAC Summit

Under Carolyn Leighton's leadership and vision, WITI has grown to be a worldwide organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve unimagined possibilities and transformations through technology, leadership and economic prosperity. Today, WITI has grown to be a global community of more than three million professionals, 60 networks and 300 partners, worldwide.

In this event on Carolyn's birthday on March 25, we unveil Carolyn Leighton Scholarships - to honor the vision of Carolyn Leighton and her work in building out this global sisterhood over the last 30 years. Through this scholarship, WITI hopes to provide exposure to young women in tech to current industry conversations and give access to relatable role models. Financial ability shouldn't be a deterrent to women's careers and hence, by providing an avenue for women to build relationships with fellow women in tech, we are taking a step towards realising Carolyn's vision of 'No woman stands alone'. Bringing together everyone who has been instrumental in running WITI, we uncover the specifics of the scholarship, listen to Carolyn's thoughts on the same and provide you with an opportunity to meet the team at WITI.

Carolyn Leighton founded WITI in 1989 as a worldwide email network for women in all technology sectors. Due to Ms. Leighton's leadership and vision, WITI has grown to be the premiere brand and worldwide organization dedicated to empowering women worldwide to achieve unimagined possibilities and transformations through technology, leadership and economic prosperity.

In addition to her continuing work with WITI, Ms. Leighton founded and operates Love Dogs Camp in Arroyo Grande on the central coast of California.
