The Future of Work - The Big Picture

Why should you be thinking about the future of work NOW?

- Goldman Sachs estimates that 1/3 of the current workforce will transfer to new occupations over the next five years.
- The majority of children now entering school (65%) will hold jobs that currently don’t exist, according to the World Economic Forum.
- And a recent LinkedIn survey indicates that more than 50% of workers want new careers/jobs.

Will there be high-paying jobs for everyone in the future? What will be the effects of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Expert Systems, and automation on the Future of Professions (FOP) as well as on the Future of Work (FOW)? This session will address general and personal FOW/FOP concerns, and discuss how to prepare for the future.
