Arya Murali, VP WITI India

Arya Murali cares deeply about education, inclusion, and entrepreneurship and presently serves as the VP, India at Women in Technology International, a 30 year old pioneer in empowering women in technology across the globe. Having been closely associated with women in tech ecosystem in India for over 6 years, she has in the past built a community of 1000+ women in tech as the lead for Google Women Techmakers, Cochin; and impacted 5000+ young women in tech through programs such as the Women in Tech Learning program (wit.rethinkfoundation.in).

An engineer by education, Arya is also a TEDx speaker, Jagriti Yatri, and one of the 18 young women to receive the prestigious WeTech Qualcomm Global Scholarship. A prominent proponent of the importance of scholarships and mentorships in empowering women, she is the author of an eBook on applying to opportunities (handbook.aryamurali.com), host of the 'Writing a Winning Scholarship Application' podcast and runs a personal initiative Godmothers (godmothers.in) to support young women.

Sindhu Gangadharan, Senior VP & MD of SAP Labs India

Sindhu Gangadharan holds dual responsibilities at SAP. As a Senior Vice President, she leads the SAP User Enablement unit which provides a consistent, intelligent, and personalized enablement for SAP's entire product portfolio. She is also the Managing Director of SAP Labs in India, responsible for product development and innovation at SAP's Research & Development facilities in Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Gurgaon.

SAP Labs India is the largest R&D centre outside SAP's headquarters in Germany and a leading hub for innovation and a hot spot for talent and diversity. Sindhu joined SAP in 1999 when SAP Labs India set up its operations in Bangalore and later moved to SAP's headquarters in Walldorf, Germany. She has been instrumental in bringing to life SAP's vision and strategy of the Intelligent Enterprise by orchestrating the end-to-end process delivery roadmaps.

In January 2021, Sindhu was appointed to the Board of Directors at Qualtrics International Inc. She also serves on the Board of Titan Company Ltd as an Independent Director with a focus on technology. Sindhu is a member of the NASSCOM Executive Council – the apex industry body for the IT/IT enabled services in India. She is also a member of the Steering committee of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, an industry body driving the Bilateral trade and deliberations. In March 2021, Sindhu was appointed to the Advisory Board of ReLoop by SAP.

As a respected thought leader, Sindhu is a regular speaker at domestic and global conferences. She is a passionate advocate of using technology to benefit customers and the society, workplace diversity and inclusion. Sindhu currently resides in Bangalore with her husband and two daughters.

David Leighton is co-founder and current president of WITI. During his presidency, he has turned WITI into a global enterprise. He is a creative, highly-motivated relationship-builder, and has a strong network that covers multiple industries. He is the chairman of Risk Analysis Group, co-founder of Criterion Research, co-founder of Webolution, and previous executive team-builder at Borland International.
