Coming Together While Staying Apart

While women are greatly underrepresented in this booming field, BBH seeks to empower them. To increase visibility, grow talent, and create a space for support and career development, we have launched a collaborative circle that champions the contributions of our female technologists. Meet the BBH Women in Technology (WIT) Community. They will share their success stories, explain how our grassroots program began, and encourage women at other companies to start something similar.

Anne O’Toole is an Associate on the Cloud Engineering team at Brown Brothers Harriman &Co. (BBH). She joined BBH in 2016 and her role focuses on cloud strategy, technology transformation, and infrastructure optimization initiatives at BBH.Anne is also a member of the BBH Women in Technology (WIT) Community Leadership team. She has a B.S. in computer science from Villanova University and is working towards her MBA from Boston College.

Nadira Hardial is a Senior Vice President of Application Development and Support for Systems at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. She is responsible for the platforms that support the Finance, Compliance, Risk, Human Resources, and Enterprise functions of the bank. Nadira is a co-founder of the BBH Women in Technology (WIT) community.

Nadira joined BBH in 2018. Prior to BBH, she held roles managing technology solutions for financial services firms, including Merrill Lynch, Citibank, and Morgan Stanley. Nadira has led systems teams supporting institutional, wealth management, and asset management businesses across a range of areas including Risk, Margin and Collateral Management, Fund Services, and Tax.

Nadira holds a BBA in Information Systems from Baruch College in New York City.

Paulina Lalewicz-Sroka is Vice President, responsible for Strategy and Managerial Reporting for the Corporate Technology Application Development and Support team in Systems. Paulina supports a number of initiatives in the BBH Krakow office including having a leadership role in the Women in Technology (WIT) community, active engagement with the BBH Women’s Network and a leadership role in the Agile community at BBH.

Paulina joined Brown Brothers Harriman in 2016. Prior to that, she held various technology roles from Software Engineer to Release Manager, Program Manager, Application Manager to Group Manager at various companies. Paulina is an Agile enthusiast and promotor of knowledge sharing initiatives and communities.

Paulina holds a MSc Eng. in computer science from AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.
